Every Smartphone Brand make phones for different purposes like camera-centric phones, design-centric phones, clean UI & software-centric phones and even smartphones with only high battery capacity compromised with some of the most important components & specification of the smartphones but it all depends upon the individual choices.

The following tips will help you improve your smartphones battery life but as we know every smartphone has different software optimisation, battery capacity & specification, so this tip might not help everyone but around 95% of people will find these tips useful & for the rest 5% it will definitely be useful in the future if not now:

1) Dark Mode - Nowadays, applying a dark theme will minimise the power used to lit up your phone screen, thus saving battery power. You also need to turn on Dark Theme on all the supported apps and while you are at it, use a darker background— preferably all black to save more energy.

2) Turn off Unnecessary SettingsAnother big battery sucker is location services running in the background. You can turn off certain apps’ access to location services to limit how much power they use and save on battery life. Remember to turn off Bluetooth when you’re not in the car or playing music wirelessly. By doing this, you can add an hour or more to your smartphone’s battery life. Constantly searching for a wifi connection consumes battery power. Make sure your wifi settings are turned off when you’re not looking to connect. Disable unnecessary push notifications is a sure-fire way to save battery power.

You can do this in case your battery drain is too high due to a higher resolution displayAdditionally, in the display settings, you can set the screen timeout as low as required. 4) Uninstall or Freeze Unwanted Apps - Speaking of hibernating, it doesn’t hurt to do a periodic check of all the apps you have and either get rid of or restrict any that are unnecessarily using battery powerThe first step is the easiest: Go through your app drawer and see if there are any apps that you don’t recognize (because they’ve been sitting in there so long), or that you’ve gotten tired of. Why let them use resources? Uninstall them or if you don't want to delete any app then you can use Greenify App which is a free app that helps you to identify power-consuming apps and place them into hibernation when you are not using them. Not only does this stop them from eating at your battery, but it also prevents them from slowing down your device.

5) Use Lite & Dark Wallpaper & Ditch Widgets - Stay away from live wallpapers, because it takes energy for your display to animate it. It's also a good idea to limit yourself to a background with fewer colours in it since the display will eat up more energy if it needs to render a lot of different colours. Again, if you have an OLED or AMOLED screen, black coloured or black themed wallpapers are better. While widgets are tempting and convenient, they are essentially an active program usable right from your home screen, so the phone uses energy to keep the feature running.
