FAU-G Team Deathmatch (TDM) Mode: Early Access, APK, Download Size & More
Fau-G Team Deathmatch Mode
FAU-G, the Indian shooting game by nCore Games teased its upcoming TDM (Team Deathmatch Mode) mode months ago. While a beta was earlier promised on June 21, the date was missed. However, nCore Games on 27th June 2021, Sunday posted a new tweet announcing a TDM mode beta release for the action game. A separate application had been launched on the Google Play Store and the link to the same can be found in nCore Games’ official tweet "nCore Games" or you can directly refer to FAU-G Multiplayer.
What is TDM in FAU-G? How it goes
Head-to-Head with Call of Duty: Mobile TDM mode?
TDM mode in FAU-G is a multiplayer mode that is
different from the main story version that was launched a while back. In Team
Deathmatch, you will team up with online players or your friends and battle
with other players in a 5v5 battle. Unquestionably
though, the king of TDM on mobile might just be COD Mobile. This combines the signature COD gunplay with fantastic mobile touch controls
to give players an exceptionally responsive shooter, even on mobile but FAU-G
and nCore Games have their work cut out for them when it comes to going
up against giants of the industry in the TDM space. When it comes to pure
gameplay, FAU-G is quite decent. Now, let’s see how more it will
be improved since it’s just the beta version & the stable version
might get some more polish.
What
Is the Download Size of FAU-G: Multiplayer TDM Mode?
The FAU-G TDM mode download size is around 300MB from the Play Store. It takes up around 430MB of storage space on your device. So, the FAU-G TDM update won’t take a lot of storage space on your phone & you can easily download and install it on any Android phone.
FAU-G TDM Mode: Loadout& Maps
FAU-G TDM mode will introduce guns and other new
weapons for the first time & one cool new map.
FAU-G TDM mode – Bazaar Map
Now, here we go FAU-G
TDM mode has a new map. It’s called Bazaar, and as the developers IGN India, this map is reminiscent of the markets in Jaipur and
Udaipur. Now, Bazaar is a fairly large map with multiple
entries and exit points on both sides. The map has “ample
cover and vantage points to take that defining shot and cement your victory”,
the description reads on Google Play Store.
FAU-G TDM mode: Weapons &
Combat
In FAU-G TDM mode, you have the option to pick a specific loadout
at the start of each round. Each
loadout consists of a primary weapon, a secondary weapon, and two
grenades (one tactical and
the other lethal), much more similar as COD Mobile but you can
not buy the weapons in between the game.
The developers give you the option to choose any 1 from 6 Primary Guns, 2 secondary guns but there are only 2 grenades of each type. The complete list of guns & grenade are as follows:
Primary Weapons 1) AK-72 (assault rifle)
2) PPD-22 (LMG)
3) MG9 (SMG)
4) PSG-24 (Shotgun)
5) SVS 63 (sniper)
6) BAR-42 (marksman rifle)
1) Bayonet
2) MP – 44
1) Stun Grenade
2) Frag Grenade
FAU-G TDM Mode: GamePlay
So, the most awaited thing we all were waiting for was its Gameplay. Once you tap the “Play” button and jump into a Team Deathmatch, you join four other players in a 5 vs 5 battle on Bazaar. The objective is to take down enemies and get 40 kills. The team that gets 40 kills or has the most kills in 10 minutes wins the match. Similar to PUBG Mobile & COD Mobile players are invulnerable for a brief period after respawning. The game has some interesting sarcastic Hindi remarks such as “Pehle prahar aapki team ke naam” (your team gets the first kill), “Double Dhamaka” (when you get two kills back to back), and many more. Talking about the controls and gunplay, there’s nothing new here. You have standard on-screen controls, but it’s disappointing to see that they are not customizable. It's not as smooth and polished as other shooter games. It's very basic & will not pump you like you are in the real world.
